- CLINICAL LABORATORY--The
Clinical Laboratory at Dukes Memorial Hospital has been accredited by
the College of American Pathologists since 1978. Full computerization
and 24-hour staffing provide superior service to our patients and
physicians.
- NUCLEAR MEDICINE--Dukes
Memorial Hospital has a full service Nuclear Medicine Department. We are
fully accredited by JCAHO and NRC and are licensed for diagnostic and
limited therapy procedures.
The Nuclear Medicine Department compliments Clinical Laboratory Services
at Dukes Memorial Hospital. Studies are performed for use in cardiology,
neurology, orthopedics, gastroenterology, endocrinology, pulmonary and
nephrology. State-of-the-art SPECT studies also are available.
- RADIOLOGY--X-Ray,
CT Scanner, Ultrasound, MRI and ACR Accredited Mammography are the
imaging technologies available at Dukes Memorial Hospital to assist
physicians in the diagnosis and monitoring of various medical
conditions.
- CARDIOPULMONARY--Dukes
Memorial Hospital provides the most current equipment for the diagnosis
and treatment of cardiac and pulmonary patients. 24-hour
respiratory therapy is also available at Dukes Memorial Hospital.
- REHABILITATION--Inpatient
physical,
occupational and speech therapies are available at Dukes Memorial
Hospital. Outpatient physical and occupational therapy is
available at Dukes Therapy Center located across from the hospital on
Grant Street. Cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation is available in
the professional building attached to the hospital.
- SPECIALTY CLINICS--Outpatient
clinics in cardiology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopaedics and
oncology brings specialists
to the Peru area for your convenience.
- SLEEP CENTER--Dukes
Sleep Center offers day and nighttime studies to facilitate diagnosis
and treatment for all forms of sleep and wake disorders.
