Maternity Care
After June 13, planned inpatient labor and delivery services will no longer be provided at Dukes Memorial Hospital. It has been our privilege to play a part in helping bring infants into the world.
If you planned to deliver at The Birthplace after June 13, we encourage you to contact your obstetrician to transition your care to another hospital.
Patients who are experiencing a medical emergency – obstetrics-related or otherwise – can be assured that the hospital’s emergency department has an experienced team trained to provide safe emergency care.
